Courses and best colleges in Kolkata after 10th and 12th

After 10th class, you can go for a three years diploma course in engineering subjects. There are many polytechnic colleges in and around Kolkatta and the admissions will be based on the entrance test rank. You can study a diploma in chemical engineering or diploma in nutrition course from any of the colleges. For obtaining a seat in a good college you have to prepare well and get a good rank in the entrance test. The second option you are having is to continue your study up to 12th class in CBSE syllabus or joining in any junior college for intermediate. You can take BPC or MPC or HEC as your group subjects.
After 12th class, you can join in B.Sc and you can choose the subjects you like. Generally, the selection will be based on your marks in 12th class. There will not be any entrance test. The second option you have is to go for Engineering course or MBBS based on the subjects you have chosen in your intermediate. The seats will be allotted based on the rank you obtained in the entrance test.
