M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering Power System is a 2 years Post Graduate program in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Industrial electronics and Controls , Numerical Methods and Optimization Techniques, CAD and CAM techniques, Mechatronics, Power Electronics and Drives, High voltage DC transmission, Wind and Solar Energy Electric Conversion System and Microprocessors and Micro Controllers.
Candidates having completed their B.E. / B.Tech. can apply for admission in the M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering Power System. Candidates should have a minimum of aggregate score of 50% in their graduation. Depending upon the type of institutions like IIT or Govt Engineering Colleges or private Engineering Colleges, the candidate will have to either secure a good GATE score or should be in merit as per his graduation scores for getting admission in this M.Tech. course.
