If you want to get transfer from one college of Anna University to another college of Anna University then you have to apply for it to Commissioner, Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE), Chennai. You have to download the application form from their site and submit it for their consideration. These transfers are accorded as per the sanctioned seats available in different colleges and availability of intake.
Transfer of a student studying in Government / Aided / Constituent Colleges of University will be considered for transfer only to similar ones while transfer of a student studying in Self Financing Engineering Colleges will be considered for Transfer to another Self Financing Engineering College only. Transfer will be in same stream and same subjects and no change in them will be allowed.
Once your college gets the decision or comments from the office of the Commissioner, Directorate of Technical Education, depending on that, university will issue transfer approval order. The requisite fee is also to be paid at this juncture.
Just in case, please note that for transfer just before the final year if there is any addition of course or deletion of already availed course then it will require specific permission of the Director, Academic Courses, Anna University Chennai to avoid any confusion in the matter.
