How to get well prepared for mining business?

1, You have not given any information about your qualification.
2. Mining business means mining the material and selling it. Which side do you want to see? Are you interested in the technology of mining? Are you interested in the commercial side of it that is marketing? Based on your interest you have to decide.
3. If you want to see the marketing you can Diploma in Business management. There are many institutes offering this course through distance education mode. You can select the best possible institute and do this. It will be around 6 months for completing this course. You may choose a diploma in operations management also which will be helpful to you.
4. If you are interested in conducting the mining and planning the blasting and drilling, there are no much short term courses in this line. There is a Institute called CMRI, Dhanbad. They will be conducting some workshops and seminars in this line. You can contact them and attend any such course. Alternatively, if you know anybody in Singerani collieries or any private mining companies doing coal mining or limestone mining and be there with them for 5 or 6 months there and see how they are designing a blast and what are the precautions they are taking and other details. Once you get trained there for 5 to 6 months you will become conversant with the mining activity.
5. There are some institutes in India offering Diploma course in Mining in distance mode. The course is for 2 years. You can try that also.
