  • Essential oils are useful but each of them has certain uses and effectiveness in different different conditions and one has to find out the exact oil or its combination in a particular situation. These natural remedies generally work when continued for a significant time and do not give any result in a few days. So patience is required in using them.

    1. The day and night creams come in different chemical proportions and until unless the ingredients are blend-able and effective, we should not mix the essential oils in them just like that.

    2. Out of these 3 essential oils you are having with you, Rosemary is supposed to help you if you inhale it 2 times a day for at least 1-2 months. For inhaling, the simplest method is that take a few drops of Rosemary oil on a cotton and put the cotton on the nostrils and inhale 2-3 times. Rosemary oil is known for its use in improving blood circulation and certain brain functions which improve the many body functions and retard the ageing processes like wrinkles on faces, greying of hairs etc.

    3. Orange essential oil can be used for bringing the skin glow back by diluting it with coconut oil (1 part orange essential oil with 2 parts coconut oil) and then slightly massaging it on the face. It has to be done once a day for at least 2 months to get the desired results. It should not be used without diluting as there are risks of photo-toxicity associated with this oil.

    4. Tea tree oil is useful in acne-scar conditions and there are many formulations advised by the experts. One of them is add 2-3 drops of Tea tree oil to 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and apply this to the face in the night before going to bed. Leave it overnight and wash gently in the morning. Continue for a month to get the required results.
