The salary and perks depends on the company. There are chances for career growth also. If you have some interest you can become a freelancer. But it is always better to gain some experience before you start on your own.

Coming to civil services examinations, nothing like it provided you have an interest and the will to work hard. It is a tough issue and all depends on your efforts. It is said that a person can get success in his life generally in the field in which he has an interest, inclination and liking. I would request you to complete B.com and parallelly try for some basic courses as a part time which your parents would definitely allow to do in case its affordable and provided you don't hurt their sentiments.
