    Knowledge is power.

  • I think earlier exam pattern was subjecctive type because in cus exam pattern of 2017 also it is mentioned as subjective. But in 2019 prospectus it is written as objective type.
By the way, you can check other university's question papers of Geography, available at ISC.

  • Just to be eligible for Central Admission Test, the aspirants are required to secure a minimum of 45 percent in the graduation - level in the concerned subject for which you want to persue at the post - graduate- level. In case of Geography, the same condition will hold good.
Apart from this eligibility criteria, you will have to pass the written test conducted by the university consisting of 100 marks and to the minimum cut - off to pass this test is around 50 marks or any passing - mark decided by the authority. The nature of the examination would be of objective type as is reflected in the prospectus of 2019, contrary to test - pattern of written one prior to this. Hence, you must have thorough command of the subject.
There will be altogether eight centres including Gauhati, Patna, Siliguri, Kolkata,Gangtok, Namichi etc and the aspirant would be required to indicate any one of centres and once the centre is opted by candidates, it cannot be changed later on.
The written - test is normally conducted in the month of June every year and intake of candidates in Geography is 27 suggesting for thorough preparation so as to be included in the merit - list.
You can have the sets of old papers from the examination - department of the university.
