What is the exam pattern of Sikkim central university?

There is a question two or three days before on the same subject. A very detailed reply was given and in that this mode of entrance test was also given. You can refer to that. However, the entrance examination pattern is given below. The examination is called the Common Admission Test. (CAT)
Exam Pattern:
1. There will be only one paper. This will be a common paper.
2. Total Marks: 100
3. Duration: 1 hour.
4. All the questions will be multiple-choice questions.
5. The minimum mark for qualifying is 50%.
6. The examination centres are Gangtok, Siliguri, Guwahati, Namchi (South Sikkim) and Geyzing (West Sikkim).
7. Candidates from other states can also attend the test and get admitted if qualified.

In a previous query, already I told you that exam pattern of PG in Sikkim Central university for geography entrance is Multiple Choice Question (MCQs) Based on OMR sheet. Earlier it was descriptive type. But now objective type only.

Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted for Admission in UG and PG Courses. Exam pattern is
1. Exam Duration: 1 hour
2. Total Marks: 100.

Question paper will be of objective type and eight test venues namely Guwahati, Kolkata, Patna, Siliguri, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Gangtok, Namchi and Geyzing.

So don't worry and start preparation for next year. Forms will be available next year and exam most probably will be conducted in June 2020.

Sikkim University conducts Central Admission Test for admission to its PG courses. The exam pattern is descriptive and the candidate has to answer the questions in that mode only. It is to be noted that the exam is not objective type.

Any student from any state of the country can apply for this entrance exam if he is fulfilling the eligibility criterion that is he should have 45% marks in his graduation degree. The exam centres are located at Guwahati, Kolkata, Patna, Siliguri, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Gangtok, Namchi and Geyzing.

The University conducts CAT examination for those candidates who want to take admission in PG courses.

The exam conducted is of 100 marks and at least 50% is required to score to clear the entrance exam. The duration of the exam is 1 hour. It usually starts from 10 a.m.
There won't is any descriptive questions. There will only be multiple-choice questions based on OMR sheet.

Yes, the students from another university can easily apply for PG courses in Sikkim Central University. It must be noted that the applicants must have scored 50% in their Bachelor's or equivalent degree to apply for PG courses in Sikkim University. Relief of 5% is given to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

CAT will be held at eight test venues. They are Kolkata, Patna, Siliguri, Guwahati, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Gangtok, Namchi and Geyzing.
