I have done my 12th from CBSE board Uttarpradesh. But by mistake I have filled state of my 12th as Delhi. Everything else is correct. There is no option to make a c correction in the form.
Will it create a serious problem during verification?

  • You have filled the application form for DSSSB (Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board) vacancies and mentioned your class 12 qualification where by mistake you have mentioned the board as Delhi in place of Uttar Pradesh. As you can not edit is now, the only way left for you is to inform them about it. You can go to the DSSSB official website and see if any email link is there so that you can inform them by email about this mistake and keep a copy of the email as a reference with you so that you c present it at the time of the document verification.

Alternatively, you can do another thing that write an application on a plain paper about this mistake and ask them to correct it at their end and give your application reference and send it by post to the following address -

Controller of Exam, Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB),
    FC-18, Institutional area,
    Karkardooma (near railway reservation center),
    Delhi-110092.

Their phone number is 011-22370309. You can talk about this on that also and ask their help in this matter.

  • You have mentioned wrongly the board of intermediate of Delhi in place of the board of intermediate, Uttara Pradesh. But you might have submitted your intermediate certificate copy. In that there will be correct information, You have to correct it. Check the website and see if any provision is there for correction. If it is not there you can inform them by writing a letter to the concerned authorities. You can send that letter by registered post acknowledgement due. Keep a copy of the letter as a record for you. Instead of a registered letter of you are sending an email a copy of the same for your records.

Personally, if you have a chance you can go and give them the letter personally. The concerned office address is as below.

    The Controller of Examinations,
Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB),
    FC-18, Institutional area,
    Karkardooma, Delhi-110092.

  • While submitting the application for DSSSB, you have commited mistake by wrongly filling up of your passing from board of Delhi instead of from the board of Uttarpradesh. The other fillings are correct. You may check the website whether there is any provision for making correction/ corrections. If there is scope for correction, do the same at the earliest.
In case, there is not such a provision, write an application to the concerned official indicating the mistake and accordingly reflect the name of the correct board from where you have passed. This application has to be sent through the registered post with an acknowledgement receipt to be attached with the envelope. This will be a proof of your correspondance with the DSSSB officials.
In order to sort out this issue, you can straightway approach the office and for the same, the address is given below-
    The Controller of Examinations,
    Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board,
    FC - 18, Institutional Area,
    Karkadooma, Delhi - 110092.

  • Unfortunately, there is no option of correction of details in application forms after the final submission on DSSSB website

However, you can make correction in application form only through offline mode. For this you will have to write an application clearly mentioning the correct details in bold letters to the Controller of Examiners, Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Office at their office located at Karkardooma, East Delhi along with the copy of online submitted application form.

If you are going to submit this application by post then keep photocopy of application letter and speed post receipt with you. You can also attach an acknowledgement card with the envelop. When this post will delivered to the DSSSB office this card will return to you and will serve as a proof.

If you are going to submit this application physically in the office of DSSSB take inward copy and keep it with the you for future communication.

I think that calling to office of DSSSB will not give any result.

You can also submit an affidavit at the time of document verification mentioning that you State is xxxxx which was mistakenly written as xxxxxx in online application form.

Further, it is suggested that never fill any application form or any document in hurry.

  • The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB )is an organization configured for filling various positions in the Delhi government and administration. The recruitment is done by conducting competitive exams which include written, personal and professional tests. The application form for various posts is released online and interested applicants can apply online by visiting their site - www.delhi.gov.in or www.dsssbonline.nic.in.

As you have already submitted your application with the wrong filling and as there is no option of correction in the submitted application forms, you either have to contact the Controller of Examiners or submit and offline application asking for a correction. For this purpose, you can visit their office in the below address:
Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB),
    FC - 18, Institutional Area, Karkadooma, Delhi - 110092.
    Phone: 011-22370309

You can either give a call and ask for the solution or visit the office and provide an application for the correction in the application form. Do remember to collect a receive note as this will help you to make a clarification when required.

Note: Always remember to have a cross-check of documents before submitting or applying for any exam.
