How to transfer original windows OS to SSD?

If you want to move OS from HDD to SSD then you will have to clone the HDD upon the new SSD you have bought. For this some software will be needed. One such popular software is AOMEI Backupper which is available free for use. The general procedure is to backup the HDD to some other external hard drive and then restore the image to the new 128 GB drive. AOMEI does these functions for you once it is installed in your system. Actually SSDs are more efficient and fast in many respects than that of the HDD and it is always a good idea to port the OS in them for increasing the speed and efficiency of the computer system.

One thing that would be required is to connect the HDD to the external drive for transferring process. To achieve this the back plate of the laptop is to be opened and then one USB to SATA adopter would be required to be connected to the HDD and then only we would be able to connect the external SSD to it. One more thing which I would suggest is that whether you use AOMEI or any other equivalent or better software for this purpose there are many steps and process in this transformation and it is advisable to take help of a professional person who are routinely doing installation and reinstallation of OS between the drives. Of course the software programs like AOMEI are very interactive and would guide the user step by step and those having some experience in these tasks can follow that and complete the transfer. Once the transfer of OS is complete you can use the HDD just like a storage for your files and data etc.

You can transfer the OS and data from your system's HDD to SSD without even reinstalling the windows. Follow the simple steps below.
1. Connect your SSD drive to the computer
2. If you want, you can do some hardware cleaning - this will help you stop transferring unwanted data or files. You can use a tool - EaseUS - http://download.easeus.com/free/toolsm.exe. Once you download EaseUS, select 'System Cleanup' from the main screen. Select all junk files which you want to analyze and then click on Analyze. You can useless files which you want to remove and click on Clean Up.
3. Download 'EaseUS Partition Master'
4. Run the Partition Master and 'Migrate OS'
5. Select SSD - the destination drive and click 'Next' then click on 'Migrate' to continue
6. Now click on 'Proceed' to start migrating your OS and data to the SSD drive

Before taking any initiative relating to Hard Drive, all the datas needed to be backed up since in case of maloperation, you may loose the entire data stored already and it would be hard to recover them.
PC supply should be consistent for an appreciable period since the entire process may take a longer duration.
There are certain points to be followed in course of operation and these are listed below -
1) You would need a PC/ Computer and a full version of software like Acronis Disc, Director 12 or an installed software on another PC and a reboot.
2) Shutdown the PC and then SSD is to be connected and select a new hard drive as second and third drive as second and third device with the existing PC Hard Drive.
3) Check in BIOs if both attached to Hard Drive are detected and BIOs shows all three drives.
4) Now clone the drive.
5) The PC may restart but that would not be a problem.
6) Ensure that no blinking of the electricity occurs.
7) After a few hours of operation, say for at least two hours, the PC is to be shut down and the second SSD and the third SSD New Hard Drives are to be removed. Boot the machine and check if OS is booting property.
8) If the OS does not boot property, check out the faults.

HDD vs SSD
Before going to the main point, let us see the differences between Harddisk and Solid State Disk(SSD).
HDD uses magnetic storage where SSD uses memory flash technology. SSD is faster than HHD also it is a bit expensive. HDD may make noise, but SSD is quiet.

There are 3 ways to migrate windows 10 from HDD to SSD.
1. You can go for Backup software like AOMEE. And do it step by step.

2. Creating a windows backup image in the control panel. Follow these steps:
• To do this, you can either connect the SSD to your laptop externally using a SATA cable. or
• Install SSD inside the laptop in another slot if available.
• Also, you can remove the DVD drive and use the Caddy case in its place to place an SSD.
• Go to the control panel.
• Click on file history
• At the bottom, click on "see also".
• Click on System image backup.
• Save on the desired location.
• Install windows on SSD.
• Once done, copy the Backup file to SSD and run it.

3. Install windows 10 on SSD and Copy the required files to SSD. If you want to get previous mails, just go to C drive> program files to get them before taking the backup.
