  • Sundari Sudha is an Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by the leading pharmaceuticals such as Baidyanath, Dabur, Dhootpapeswar etc for strengthening the women body in many ways as indicated below -
    1) It is a non hormonal safe uterine tonic.
    2) It will resolve the primary and secondary menstrual problems if noticed by the women.
    3) It is a general tonic for the ladies from the onset of first menstruation to menopause.
    4) It improves appetite and stamina.
    5) It regulates the secretion of Endocrine Gland.
Hence this can be safely consumed by the ladies for the general improvement of health as indicated above.
However, you have indicated that you are pregnant and in such situation, you are risking yourself for the abortion. The charecterstics of this medicine is to normalise the menstrual cycle if there is abnormality in this regard. Hence it would be better to stop it forthwith and take the consultation of Vaidya.
While looking the ingredients used in Sundari Sudha such as Ashok Chhal ( Saraca Indica), Lodhra Chhal ( Symlocos Racemes), Dhataki ( Fire Flame Blush), Cumin Seeds, Nut Grass, Ginger etc indicate that these herbs have been added for the free flow of menstruation and any obstruction in the path would be cleared.
Hence this will affect your baby inside your womb if consumption is not withdrawn immediately.

  • Sundari Sudha is a very effective syrup used by women which benefits them in many ways.It is an Ayurveda syrup, due to this, the chances of its negative effects are less, but even in normal times, women should take the advice of a doctor, It should be taken only after that. I hope you too have started this medicine only after the advice of the doctor.
The main reasons for taking this medicine are -
    For cleaning the blood
If you often feel weakness, then this medicine is helpful in giving power and energy.
Help to maintain the balance of hormones in your body.
If you have any problem related to menstruation, then this medicine is considered very good for that.
Apart from all these, it is also advised by the doctor even when there is a deficiency of vitamins.

Now we talk about your doubt as you conceived , first of all, congratulations, you need to take care of yourself and keep getting advice from the your elders from time to time.
When you started taking this syrup, the doctor you had consulted at that time, once again you should also consult them as no medicine should be discontinued all of sudden, it can also have a bad effect on the body.
Since this drug is given for both menstrual and hormonal balance and both are related to pregnancy, then obviously it can have an effect on the baby.
Women should not take too medicines during pregnancy according to me, you should consult your doctor or gynecologist on this subject as soon as possible and only then consume it.
