Even the aspirants having passed graduation in any stream can acquire this degree. With respect to age, there is no minimum and maximum age bar for taking up this course.
The advantage of taking up this course through distance mode is taking up your studies and practicals in your convenient hours without disturbing your regular schedule. Since you need to show your skill of your familiarity with the different instrument such as Harmonium, Guitar, Flutes etc, it would be better to take lessions from a Guru well versed in this field so as to show your impressive performance in the practical papers. The other advantage with this mode is that you can choose your papers part wise in a single sitting in which you are confident to clear the same.
