Do I need to reinstall the OS on my PC after adding an SSD to get faster boot times?

Confused whether you really need to reinstall the OS on my PC after adding an SSD to get faster boot times? Know the opinions of tech experts from here.

I have a PC which has a Seagate Firecuda 1TB SSHD and the OS is installed on it. It boots much slower as compared to my laptop. My laptop takes about 5 seconds to boot up whereas the PC takes about 30-40 seconds for the same. I'm going to add a 500 GB SSD to my PC to make it faster. Now, I'm getting confused that will the PC boot faster just by installing the SSD or will I have to reinstall my OS on the SSD to make it boot faster?
