Age eligibility for CBSE board 10th

The minimum age to appear in the 10th board exam is 14 years, as of 31st December of the year of examination. This is as per the guidelines of CBSE. Your brother will be in X in the year 1928 -29. He will be completing his 14th year by 25-08- 2028. Hence there will not be any problem for him in respect of age.

As per the CBSE stipulations the minimum age required to appear in the class 10 exam is 14 years as of 31st December of the academic year. In your case the date of birth of the child (your brother) is 26.08.2014 and he is in class 3. By extrapolating we find that he will be in class 10 during 2028-29. His age as of 31st December 2028 will be more than 14 years so there is no problem for him for appearing in the class 10 exam.
