What is the latest update on CUCET 2021?

The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a centralized test for admission to undergraduate courses at the Central Universities across the country. National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting this test. The UGC just announced that this year CUCET will not be conducted. There are almost 54 Central Universities in the country and all these universities will get their admissions done based on this test only.
The official website for CUCET is http://www.cucetexam.in/. But this year there is no examination. So all the central universities were advised to continue their admission procedure as per the earlier procedure. The common test will be implemented from next year. So you have to verify the website of the univeriisty in which you want to get admitted and act accordingly.

CUCET is the abbreviation of Central University of common entrance test. It is a national level exam. It is conducted once a year for admission to UG, PG and Research programmes in 14 central universities.

As per the announcement made by UGC on 18th July 2021, the CUCET exam which is an entrance exam for many Central Universities admissions has been cancelled. So for the academic year 2021 these admissions will have to be done as earlier they were being handled by these universities individually. If the pandemic situation improves then from the next year that is academic year 2022 onwards these tests could be held.
