  • As you have mentioned that you have got interest in Chemistry discipline and aspire to go for doing doctorate in it. Chemistry is a very interesting branch of science and in many industries chemistry qualified people are recruited. There is ample scope for research work in it. When we go in advanced level of a subject then we encounter overlap between the main core subject as we as other some subjects and specialisations start to come in picture. So people who have learned Chemistry might be interested to do research in biochemistry or Biomedical Chemistry or Environmental Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry or Nuclear Chemistry or Geochemistry in addition to the more common branches that we generally study during our UG and PG courses.
So, from that perspective you can think of first completing your graduation in it through the correspondence mode and then go for the PG course after which you can plan for your research work under some good guide who can guide you for it.
There are many good universities and colleges which offer UG course with specialisation in Chemistry but as you prefer and are willing to do it from some institute available in Tamil Nadu then you can contact some of the following institutes for the purpose of taking admission in the distant course.
