  • No course is difficult if you have the passion and interest for it. After your class ten, there are two options- either you continue your higher education for 10+2 with any one of the streams from Arts, Science and Commerce. This will depend upon your level of interest.
You should not remain in the grip of any ambiguity. If you are unable to decide, you may take the help of course counsellors who can guide you in selecting the stream which would suit you most after hearing from your side. They would also see your mark sheet of your class ten examination before deciding your ultimate career.
Diploma courses are not bad if you want to take up the job of an organisation as an overseer after the completion of the diploma in any of the streams - Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical etc. you may continue your job with the possession of anyone of the streams and side by side continue your studies for AMIE matching your service need.
However, keep this thing in mind your success would depend upon your carful planning and your dedication towards the course selected.

  • Selection, of course, is a subjective matter and depends upon the interest area. If you want to pursue your 11th then you have mainly three streams humanities, commerce and science. Under science also you can take pure science by opting for biology otherwise opting for mathematics if you are interested in this, and if you are interested in both then you can even opt for both. Always keep in mind that nothing is difficult, it only depends upon how efficiently you carry out your work and your perseverance.
Nowadays, some schools are offering a wide and distinct combination of subjects such as humanities without opting for traditional subjects of the art steam you can also opt for mathematics. In the science stream, you can also take economics which can give you an upper edge over students of your class and add skills to you. But, it depends on the school in which you are pursuing your 11th. Also, you can opt for some vocational subjects with normal subjects and AI is the most prominent in this dynamic world.
Also, even after the tenth, you can go for a diploma and vocational courses. But keep in mind that after that you are restricted only to that course and in future, you have limited areas of working. So it is always advisable to first compete for 12th and then after making choices for diploma, graduation or professional courses. Always remember, that your course would make you successful only to a limited extent, but to be separate from the crowd always put your dedication towards it and wholeheartedly give your everything to your studies.

  • Many student are being confused regarding selection of subject after passing class 10th exam. As far as, selection of subject is concerned it depends upon your interest and calibre. As you must be aware that there are three stream arts, science and commerce after class 10th. You can pursue any subject interest accordingly. If you take up science subject then job opportunity would be more compare to other stream.
If you are interested in doing diploma after class 10th then you can go for it but your job opportunity would be less so, it is better to do diploma course after completion of class 12th.

  • Nothing is easy or nothing is difficult. It all depends on the hard work you put in and the interest you have in the subject. We can't say, this degree is good or bad. So what is your interest? You should decide based on your interest.
After completing your 10th class you can go to +2 or you can go for a diploma. In both cases, it takes 6 years after the 10th class. Many students prefer +2 after 10th and then join in BE/B Tech.
So both the ways will be good. The result will completely depend on your interest and the hard work you put in. So you decide any one option which suits your interest and go ahead. Sincerely concentrate and put in hard work. You will definitely have a good future.
One of my brothers did his diploma after the tenth class and then joined the diploma course. After completing his diploma he joined a job. He simultaneously joined for B.Tech in the night college and completed his BE also. You can also follow the same pattern. These days there is a system of lateral entry into BTech/BE in the 2nd year after diploma. Total years for BE will be 6 years in this way also. He joined a good company. Now he is well off.
My son did his +2 and then joined in BE. The total years of study are 6 years. He joined the IT field and doing well.

  • Making a career in today's world requires a long drawn strategy and plan. First and foremost thing is one should be able to pinpoint one's interest area so that one can do good efforts in that field for making a good career. After doing high school one finds oneself standing at a cows road where so many options are available and one has to choose a few among them and later focus in one of them for full concentration and zeal to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for progressing ahead. Let us see some of the possible options and their relative merits after class 10.
Those who have an ambition of picking the engineering or medical line have to go for +2 route and then appear in the respective entrance examination. After class 12 one can even think of going to management education side by opting for a bachelors (BBA) or Masters (MBA) course in management.
If one has an inclination to go for diploma after class 10 itself then also the scope for engineering stands in lateral entry mode after completing the diploma and the added advantage in this option is that after diploma one can settle in job also if one's circumstances are not conducive for going for the higher education.
Another possibility is to go for some computer courses after completing class 12 and then gain skill and expertise in that and enter the industry in appropriate place. It could be digital marketing, web designing, system maintenance, networking, animation, android application, Java & PHP etc and many other such related fields. If one has interest in computer coding then possibilities for growth are manifold.
So, the question is simply not as what is easy and what is tough but it is the selection of a path as per one's interest and liking and at the same time one should be able to score good in that line and then only one will get good chances for getting a suitable job. It is obvious that it would require hard work and sustained efforts to acquire such ambitious goals. One thing which I usually suggest to the students at this juncture of their lives is that the career making process starts from the early age when one is doing one's high school itself. Even if one is aspiring for coveted administrative services in state or central Govt then also the appropriate hard work has to start from that time onwards.

    Knowledge is power.
