  • Generally, BCA is not allowed to those students who don't have mathematics subjects in10+2. But, eligibility criteria vary from university to university. So, you are eligible to do a BCA course after completing 12th from the commerce stream. There are many universities in India that offer BCA to commerce background students. As far as admission procedure is concerned, some universities take admission based on the entrance test while some take admission on the basis of a mark. You can get all information from the college website. Here is a list of some colleges for BCA aspirants with commerce backgrounds are as follows:-
    1. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Delhi
    2. IGNOU- Indira Gandhi National Open University
    3. Aliah University, Kolkata
    4. St Xavier's College, Ahmedabad
    5. Government Science College, Bangalore
    6. Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra
    7. Manipal University, Jaipur
    8. St. Xavier's College, Jaipur
    9.Sikkim Manipal University

  • If you are really interested to have your admission in the BCA Course other than Kerala where Mathematics is not the essential criteria to be included at the stage of 10+2. Your selection of Commerce Stream would not create any impediment in the selection of your BCA Stream. Any one of the following institutions would help you to get admission in your desired choice.
    1) Indira Gandhi National Open University
    2) Sikkim Manipal University
    3) St. Xavier's college, Jaipur
    4) Christ University, Bangalore,
    5) St Xavier's college, Ahmedabad.etc
However, keep this thing in mind that Mathematics would help you in understanding the basics of the course and hence in the starting phase of this course, you should make an attempt to be familiar with the course being taught in 10+2 stage with the guidance of a proficient tutor of Mathematics.
