  • To become a teacher you have to have a graduation or 12th class or Post-graduation qualification. After that, you have to get a training qualification. Secondary grade training or B.Ed or M.Ed.
A person with 12th class qualification should do secondary grade training. After graduation or post-graduation you have to complete B.Ed course. After B.Ed you can do M.Ed. With graduation and B.Ed, you will be eligible for the graduate teacher posts. With Post Graduation qualification and B.Ed, you will be eligible for PG Teacher. M.Ed qualified candidates will be suitable for teaching Secondary grade and B.Ed students,
Earlier B.Tech students are not allowed to do B.Ed. But the central government has given permission for B.Tech graduates also to do B.Ed. But some states still not allowing B.Ed for B.Tech graduates,
You can do M.Tech after B.Tech. The course is for 2 years. Once you finish your M.Tech you can join as a lecturer in any engineering private college. While working there you can write the NET examination for getting qualified for a lecturer post in any government college. While working as a lecturer you can do PhD also.
