Your MBBS degree will be treated at par with the graduation degree of other streams such as B.A's, B.Sc's and B. Com's etc but despite this, your medical graduation would not be enough to continue your teaching profession. You may take up the following steps so that you can have your successful career of teaching in a government high school. The following tips would be beneficial in your case -
1) Look around any higher secondary school existing in your locality. You may contact the Principal of the said school requesting him to offer you an opportunity to teach the students of class eleven and twelve in the Biology subject. Once you get such an assignment, show your capability of teaching and if the same is accepted by him, you will acquire experience in this line. While remaining in this school. Start your preparation for the graduation with IGNOU taking Science Stream with Biology, Physics and Chemistry. This can be pursued in your leisure time. Then try your B.Ed with the same Open University and get this degree with your sincere studies and involvement.
2) In that way, you have covered half of your journey towards the career of a teacher in a government higher secondary school. Since the government higher secondary schools need the teachers having a post graduation qualification apart from B.Ed, you will have to continue M.Sc in Zoology or M.Sc in Botany depending upon inclination with IGNOU so that your teaching in the school is not breached and simultaneously you acquire a post graduation degree in your chosen subject.
3) Apply in a Government School with your eligibility criteria and get the chance of a teacher with your successful interview for the said post.
Moreover, you can review your decision for the benefits of the society where the doctors are urgently needed for their treatments and in the villages, the conditions are still worse for the patients due to absence of doctors in their areas. Change your idea for the noble cause.
