Now there are better utility battery operated/USB chargeable fans available. I think there is a good variety and choice n the online marketing prtals.
On a search we can se such fans ranging from a cost of near to Rs250/- to about Rs 5000/- . We can choose the one most suitable to us.
These are mostly personal fans or optimum for just use of one or two persons sitting in proximity. But they are suitable when we work on desk or relaxing and the main power fan goes off.
On a selected search in the internet I could see that "CELL Mini AC/DC Rechargeable Battery Operated 200 mm 3 Blade Table Fan" in Flipkart has receib=ved mixed response review and th positive reviews are more in the recent period review posts.The cost when I checked was Rs1295/-.
As these are mostly Chinese products you may expect the standard and durability in that way only. Need not kep a very hogh expectation.
