How to resolve washing issues in the washing machine

Nowadays fully automatic washing machines are available where one need not to do anything except pressing a button and the machine does everything itself. So far so good but there are some basic things hat we have to keep in mind when using a washing machine. Let us go through them one by one.

1. Wash the coloured clothes separately using light detergent like simple surf and the most important is use the lowest time cycle. These detergents do not harm the machines though the seller of the machines would insist to use their detergents. Generally there will be time adjustment from 18 to 50 minutes and I would recommend to use the 18 minutes only. When we are washing the clothes daily they do not get so much dirt that we would go for a 50 minutes cycle. Then the important thing to note in this regard is that all the coloured clothes do not give out colour and if there are a few of them wash them manually. That is not a big deal.

2. Never use a long cycle unless the clothes are really very dirty. Long cycles will torn the clothes soon and within 3-4 months they would be not worth wearing. Another trick is to keep the clothes soaked in detergent solutions for say half an hour and then only transfer to the machine for a quick washing and believe me if we do so only 18-20 minutes are more than sufficient for an effective washing. I have tried it and am very satisfied about this technique. In fact if you know how to operate an automatic machine manually then soaking can be done in the machine only and there is no hassle of transferring the clothes from a tub to it.

3. Do not overburden the machine with clothes. I have seen people dumping a lot of clothes and that is the basic problem why the washing results are not good. I would recommend to wash only 15-20 clothes at a time.

4. Clean the inlet water filter regularly to get a goods supply of water in the washing machine. After use keep the machine open for some time so that it gets dried up and does not get fungus or that sort of thing.

These days we get many automatic washing machines where washing will be easy and not much toil is required. But we have to take some precautions while using the machine.
1. Use appropriate time based on the clothes you are loading. Normal clothes like daily wear can be washed using minimum time. Generally. there will some fixed cycle timings will be there. In our house, we use a maximum of 25 minutes for our daily wear. But when you load think of clothes, you can increase the time.
2. Don't put white clothes with other colour clothes. There is a chance these white clothes will get the colour from the other clothes. As mentioned by you. if you are using bags, white clothes can be kept in a bah and washed separately.
3. One should use the same liquid that is suggested by the machine supplier. Some people may use normal surf and some use these liquids. But we should not use very strong detergents.
4. It is better to take AMC from the supplier and get the machine checked at least once in 3 months.
5. The number of clothes than can be loaded will depend on the size of the washing machine and we should never load more clothes than suggested.
6. If the water we use is very hard the cleaning may not be proper. So it is better to use municipal supply water and the filter for inlet water should be always in proper condition.
7. In case of any problem. inform the seller and get it checked. Don't try to manage with our own knowledge.

The moment you purchase a washing machine, you might be encountered with some minor problems and in that situation, you need to take the following initiatives to rectify the problems. The following are the minor problems that might crop up during the usage of the washing machines-
1) Resetting of the washing machine- You need to carry out the general reset of of the washing machine by turning off the power point and then wait for a couple of minutes and see how it is functioning on the restoration of the power supply. The entire mixture will break down and any mould formed in the compartment will get dissolved in this mixture and finally we would get rid of the odour with the proper drying of the machine.
3) Frequent jumping of the machine around- You would be required to examine the machine level. Ensure that feet are positioned properly in a flat surface and adjust the machine so that it rests properly on the surface.
4) How to improve the effectiveness of the machine-
Ensure that there is the regular cleaning of the flint filter if the same has gone through the ten cycle of operation so as to avert the bad odour. The mixture as stated above would work fine.
5) Regular undertaking of service operation- This is essential to detect the conditions of the components existing in the machine and due to its constant usage, the chances of worn out of some of the components are quite probable and hence for the smooth operation of the machine and any dislocation as a result of worn out parts replacement would ensure you a trouble free services for a pretty long time. Ensure that the technician is from an authorised dealer.

I see the first two points you have listed is what you have been doing until you ran out of the color and dirt catcher sheets. The fact that the company does not have the sheets in stock and the company does not provide the washing bags is what is keeping you from using your newly bought top load washing machine. Is it essential that you use only that company's sheets or can you use other brands? If you can use other brands, I suggest you buy the sheets from a local supermarket or look up online for those sheets. Amazon has many options. You can try other websites too. Similarly, you can search online for the washings bags. Amazon has a variety of them and many of them appear to be suitable for top load machines. You can pick choose the sizes as well. Using words such as 'mesh laundry washing bags' or 'wash bags for washing machines' might help. If you must use only that company's sheets, try looking for them online.
