  • Microsoft allows this link if the user has created a connection between an LCS project and one's Azure subscription. If it is not happening then you have to flag it in Microsoft 365 community site for a solution as many people are linking virtual machines to it. Alternatively you can also go to Microsoft 365 site and go to finance segment and virtual machine configuration and you will find some interesting help sections their which would help you in resolving the present problem.
Through LCS, one can request the cloud environment using the virtual machine. Right now Microsoft has configured the system for many variations of the user machine including the desktop and Azure as you mentioned but it is still in developmental phase and might not work to fullest satisfaction of the user. The virtual machine can be used locally or using cloud based apps.
Please note that there are two modes of working in this set up. One is to simply use the utilities for ERP and financial solutions and other is to develop a business model. The latter would require more knowledge in the configuring the system for the said objective.
Many persons are using these new facilities provided in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment and being a highly professional matter the exact solution can be had by interacting in the community groups in the Microsoft site.

As you are a regular contributor here I would suggest you to write a short article on this linking which would be very beneficial to the readers, members, visitors, and other professionals who are using Microsoft 365 in a business environment. You yourself know the importance of sharing knowledge with each other. So, if you have time out of your busy schedule and you feel doing like that then please think of the suggestion I just made.
