Which is the best college in India to study mechanical engineering other than IIT? Find out the list of best colleges for mechanical engineering.

My friend's son is very passionate about cars and machines and wanted to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. But he couldn't get into any IITs. Can anyone suggest some engineering colleges in India that provide best-in-class academics and infrastructure facilities that are on par with IITs?

  • Chandigarh University, in my opinion, is the greatest for any course. because they offer all students a hands-on learning experience and have fully qualified staff who support their pupils in understanding mechanics.

They also provide IBM-collaborated labs that aid in general machine knowledge learning.

The newest and fastest-growing university, Chandigarh University, is challenging global universities as well. This university has established a lot of standards. The NAAC gave this university an A+ in its initial evaluation. The designation of "university with best placement" has been given to this institution. Around 80% of students were placed here last year as well. Many corporate professionals, government officials, members of non-governmental organisations, and intellectuals travel to Chandigarh University on invitation to give seminars and presentations that could shed light on potential professions and character traits. Here, the 52 LPA was the highest package available. a space research centre that was just opened by Shri Rajnath Singh Ji. Success speaks for itself. This university has submitted more than 1200 patent applications in a single year. Applying for at least 100 jobs in a single year is not an easy undertaking. But the university has again established a standard

  • You do not need to do any research at all. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. The best college to do the BTech Mechanical Engineering course is the best NIT in India, as of today, and this college is called the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli.

It is one of the oldest Regional Engineering Colleges, at least 80 years old now. The admission to this NIT, considered to be even better than the new IITs, happens through the JEE entrance examination every year. The placement record is fabulous and it enjoys a one hundred percent placement record from the time of inception.

The course is highly rated only because of its World-class Faculty and Students. As a sort of norm, at least 60% of the students go abroad, particularly to the USA for higher studies and they do very well. The Alumni network is so strong and the ecosystem of the college and the Mechanical Department is such that the interaction among the best of pan-India students is so good at any stage.

Their internship facilities are just too good. This college has a fabulous record of industry-institute collaboration. Apart from the BHEL unit which is situated just five kilometers from this college, the institution has a very wide network of industries that happily offer the best internship facilities.

In the next few years, it is hoped that with the New Educational Policy coming up in a big way, there will be a massive improvement in the standards of this prestigious institution.

Am not mentioning any other institute, as I would restrict my views to just one college.
