  • IISC Bengaluru uptakes the students for the various courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral stages through their suitable screenings and fulfilment of their eligibility criteria as laid down for the candidates interested for admission for the various streams of different stages.
    Admissions are offered in the various branches such as Astronomy, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Management Courses etc.
    For admission to undergraduate courses, the applicants need to fill up the required form for UG admission by accessing the website. Payment of requisite amount is to be made through the net banking, Visa card, Debit Card, Credit card etc. Fee for the general candidates is Rs 500/- and for other categories such as SC/ST/ PWD, fee for filling of forms has been fixed as Rs 200/-
    Admission to UG course would be based on their performance in their oral interviews coupled with their scorings of JEE mains/ JEE Advanced/ NEET UG etc.
    Candidates for M.Tech programme such as M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, M. Tech in Electrical Engineering etc need to have the impressive GATE scores so to clear their screen process. Further they need to clear the oral interview to be inducted in their respective courses.

    3. JEE Advanced scores will be taken into consideration for admission into the BTech in Mathematics and Computing
    4. Admission to MTech program will be carried out through GATE scores followed by counselling.
    5. Admission to M.Des program will be carried out through GATE / CEED score.
    6. The admission for MBA will be based on the candidate's performance in GATE/ CAT/ GMAT scores.
    7. PhD admissions will be carried out based on the performance of the candidate in GATE/ NET (JRF) For integrated PhD admission, JAM scores will be taken into account.

  • The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Banglore is a public, deemed, research university for higher education and research in science, engineering, design, and management. The institute was established in 1909 with support from Jamsetji Tata and is also known as the "Tata Institute". It was granted the deemed-to-be university status in 1958 and the Institute of Eminence status in 2018. Admission will be based on JEE Advanced, JEE Main NEET, and KVPY scores.
