You are required to complete 17 years of age and above and no limits on NEET attempts. Foreign nationals/NRIs/ PIO, have been also eligible to take up the NEET. The official website for NEET is www.neet.nta.nic.in
In India, studying MBBS has been expensive at present unless the aspirant gets a good ranking in the NEET to avail seat in the topmost government/government-aided medical colleges. As for as the private colleges/deemed universities are concerned, 50% of the seats in those colleges must be allotted for NEET candidates, equal to the fee structure of government colleges in the respective region/States/Union Territories according to the NMC norms. So fees vary depending upon the rank you have scored, and your college choice to be government or private. Undoubtedly, private colleges do charge exorbitant fees including hostel fees and other expenses in lakhs. You can search on the internet about MBBS fee structures prevailing in various colleges in different States, Union Territories. and private medical colleges.
