  • IISTR Chennai is not UGC recognized university. So, it is difficult to get a government job after doing a polytechnic and diploma from this institute. It is approved by NSDC ( National Skill Development Corporation). And having approvals from UKQS and ASEE. This Institute is good for professionals. It provides an online certification course and you can establish yourself in a private institute after completing your diploma course.

  • There are many educational institutes in our country which are functioning like University but they are not approved by UGC. These institutes are required to adhere to the guidelines of UGC for getting the approval but as they are not able to do that they remain as unapproved institutions whose diplomas and degrees would be accepted by only a few private organisations who know about them and feel that these diploma or degree holders are good for them.
The institute mentioned above is not in the list of approved institutions in the UGC records so any certificate or degree issued by it is having a limited acceptability that also in private business arena.
But it does not mean that it is a useless certificate. Any company or private organisation that knows about the education standard of this particular institute would accept these candidates as per their merit and one can definitely make ones career.

    Knowledge is power.
