Dear Aga,
Welcome to IndiaStudyChannel. You can use this website and its forum to discuss about any place or matter of India. We will feel good to take part in discussions being held on the beauty of Kashmir, as well as the terrorism and political influence which is a sad part of our Earthly heaven.
I would like to inform you that on ISC (i.e., IndiaStudyChannel), any post created in its 'Forums' and 'Ask Experts' sections are not allowed to be updated with new comments as soon it gets older than 10 days. However, the good part is you can create a separate thread (post) issue on different issues and happening taking place in Kashmir. Also, if any important post that becomes older than 10 days but still deserves new responses from ISC members can be re-created by mentioning the URL of the old post about the same. IndiaStudyChannel has its branches spread all over the India and in abroad too. Hence, it may also stand as a public voice portal and media support as soon as you start using its forum.
For the recent and very sad happening at Kashmir, I am really too sad and irritated to say anything. I am still trying to understand how some humans can be so different, cruel and emotionless to their own people and species. I wish everyone who has ever suffered any kind of loss of life or property at Kashmir, may he/she and his/her people rest in peace and may Allah bless them with brightness and colors again.
Regards,
Ank Arya

Helo Aga,
As you suggest to start common forum for kashmir State.
I think it is not required because, here on ISC you may raised any state relevant question, there is no any restriction for topics.

AGA SYED, my personal opinion is that it would have been more appropriate if you had initiated this thread after giving necessary details in your Profile. But since you have raised this query, may I ask you as to what prompted you to initiate such a suggestion? I have been to Kashmir and have lot of connections there but there are so many things which is beyond the scope of this section.
Please do let us know as to what prompted you to raise a thread of this kind. Kashmir is and will remain a part and parcel of INDIA. Have no doubts about that!

I think the author has made this request keeping in view the consistent problems faced by the common man there and the central and state Governments fail to understand the same. Surely I fully support a forum be started to discuss the issues faced in the valley and a detailed report be prepared and sent to the Government for perusal.

Saji Ganesh, Good to know that you have visited Kashmir and you have connections there. I was born there and I have my ancestors living there from 100s of years. I lost my 20 years of childhood in this menace, and I was 10 when we had to relocate and since then we are living like Nomads. The reason for initiating such a debate was to give a fair chance to people of Kashmir to express themselves and the torture and frustration they have been going through from last 22 years. There have been more than 1.67L deaths in Kashmir in last 22 years and no one seems to talk about it. There shouldn't be any politics done around this. You also seem to have a narrow sense about Kashmir that it is an unbreakable part of India. I also agree to it and that is not an only truth. There are hundred other issues which need to be discussed.

K Mohan, I appreciate your response and that You have understood my intentions about starting a common forum about Kashmir. State and Central Govt have to take some honest steps to resolve the issue. Kashmir is heaven because of Natural beauty and with it its people. If people are dying, I don't think it will be heaven for long.

Aga one thing I cannot understand that while Kashmir is the integral part of India then why the citizens of that state nor others who want to settle in that state can purchase and cannot register their properties in their name. Then where is the freedom of moment and leaving. Well there is no doubt that congenial atmosphere is being created by the central and state government to instill confidence of the people but real charm comes when people can buy and sell properties like other states in India. That freedom must be restored first to get the glory of this great state.

Aga Syed, sorry if I had hurt you in any manner but actually I have discussed this issue with lot many people out there. I understand your sentiments but can you tell me or are aware of the base of all these problems? I am a person who respect all religions, but can I be frank and free in asking you whether being a Kashmiri Muslim is an hindrance to being an Indian? I have spoken to people in various sectors and they have all (mostly) said that they want to remain a part of India. Why not try to disown the evil?
