Please add songs from your play lists.

I have raised so far two threads related to music store of kinds one in pets names in English in songs and one is on months names in songs. Though I got only very few responses let me add some of the kind of words in songs.

Ragas names in tamil songs: There are two songs I can relate in Tamil songs which are started with the names of ragas of Keeravani..., Sahanaa...

Animal or birds names in tamil songs: Kokku(crane) Saiva Kokku, Kutti Puli(Tiger) kootam.

Health conscious tamil songs: Kathalai kannaale - Kathalai means aloevera which is good in vitamin A and hence Kathalai kannale means aloevera eyes.

So members please add from your play lists like these kind of songs in any language.

Appreciation to the author for initiating this post and surely members shall respond with great interest. Some of the old songs in Tamil really played esteem to the women folk. One such song penned by Kannadasan runs like this:

Ambu vizhi endru yen sonnan, adhu paivadhinal dhano.

And one song which talks about the prestige of Andaman Islands:

    Andamanai Parungal Azhaghu...

    K Mohan
    'Idhuvum Kadandhu Pogum "
Even this challenging situation would ease

    Ms. Saroja ji
I enlisted about 60 songs under different categories viz - Garments, Body parts, Colours, Jewels, Flowers, Fruits, Time, Relationships, Months with a thought that it will be appreciated by the author and the other members, but in vain. I know the non-Tamils may not/will not/cannot appreciate. But what about the Tamils of the ISC ?

Why no appreciation or words of praise from the author and other members. Are my songs chosen wrongly not to the satisfaction of the author or other members. Do I need to refresh my list? Now I lost my interest to respond such posts.

Please remember that 'Encouragement' and 'Appreciation' helps to generate interest and improve creativity. Should I conclude that ISCians lack encouragement?

While I apprecaiate Saroja and Sun for the nice repertoire of songs arranged as per certain parameters, I feel this will not enable other members who do not know Tamil to participate in the thread. It almost turns out to be a dialogue between Saroja and Sun.

While once-in- while using some quotes or sayings will help enhancing general knowledge, exclusive treads are a disadvantage and a discouragement. I think this will be take as a well intended suggestion. I had seen many such threads and hence I am mentioning this.

The same thread can be broadened by seeking film songs in a particular Carnatic Raga and its equivalent Hindustani Raga or viceversa ; or any language movie song starting with the name of a bird etc.

In that each member will explain the words and meanings and it will be an enrichment to others. Try my suggestion if you please.

    Mr.Venki,
Music has no language. Sarojaji did not want only Tamil songs. She expects all members from India to post the play list of their own languages. Unfortunately, there is no member at ISC who are interested to respond to this thread. This shows that Tamil leads the other languages. If any member deny my statement, they should endeavour to respond this thread with their language songs.

Mr. Venki, why not you try some Malayalam/Tamil songs.
Mr. Mohan, why not you try some Telugu/Tamil songs.

    @Venkiteswaran

Why don't you come up with songs of hindi as well as Malayalam or any other language to add this playlist as I have mentioned in my original post as well as response that songs from any language as music has no language bar.

Nice to be in ISC and feel the difference.

Thanks for sharing lac and eight. Indeed,I wanted the songs to commence with the numeral five and nine. I too thought of nine with the same song, but considered improper to include in the lists I created. Thanks lot.
