Important announcement regarding AdSense revenue sharing program
As you are all aware, we have been testing our new AdSense revenue sharing implementation for a few weeks and it seems to be working satisfactorily. We are going live with this implementation on 1 April 2014. Once we go live, our old AdSense implementation will be terminated. This means, starting from April 1, only the AdSense accounts that are created/associated using our new feature will work with ISC. If you had associated your AdSense account with our old system and not with the new system, you will not be getting AdSense share until you move to the new system.
I suggest all members who have an approved AdSense account to associate their account with our new implementation at http://www.indiastudychannel.com/adsense/v4 before 1 April.
If you are a valuable contributor and don't have an AdSense account, you may try applying for a new AdSense account.
Note:
1. If your AdSense application is rejected by Google, there is nothing ISC can do to help. We cannot influence Google. It is better to apply for AdSense only after you contribute significant amount of quality content.
2. If your AdSense account is disabled by Google after initial approval, there is nothing ISC can do to help you. As per the rules, you are not allowed to apply again if your account is disabled for policy violations.
3. If you have a hosted AdSense account from Blogger.com, it would work here. However, I need some feedback from members who have a hosted AdSense account from Blogger.com.
4. If you have a hosted AdSense account from YouTube.com, it would work here. However, I need some feedback from members who have a hosted AdSense account from YouTube.
5. Your Ads will start serving only after Google status is shown a APPROVED. ISC status may remain PENDING since we do not have a approval system in place yet. The ISC status may never change and it will not affect your ad serving, unless you see the status "Rejected". For most members, the ISC status will remain as "Pending", which will not affect your earnings in any manner.
6. This new AdSense revenue sharing partnership is only for IndiaStudyChannel and not for any other sister sites in our network. Our sister sites use a different approach, where it takes the pub id of the member and generate Ads on behalf of them.
If you were able to apply for a new AdSense account and get approved through us, please let us know. I would like to get some feedback on it.
