This is really a tricky position in our electoral politics as there is no room for the minority party to form the government and they have to prove their majority sooner or later. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are seems to be confused and could not give perfect verdict. Their fractured verdict forced all the parties to try for some post poll alliance. But during elections the parties did criticize others and now they cannot find a friend with other parties. So this is preventing them to join as one and form the government.

Hello,
I want to correct your mistake that there is no provision of president rule in the constitution for J&K state. In the current situation there is a provision of Governor's rule in special case of J&K. The governor in present is N.N vora. And now for six year, there will be Governor rule in J&K. It could not be avoided in present situation as per the constitution.

Mr. Chintan,
I think you are mistaken. A governor of a state is the representative of President of India. Whether you call it as President rule or governor rule all the same. As long as J& K is one state among the states of India, it falls under the President of India.

I am preparing for civil services 2015 and I read in the constitution of India that President's rule refers to Article 356 deals with the failure of the constitutional machinery of an Indian state In the case of J&K, the state have own constitution and In the event of failure of constitutional machinery in Jammu and Kashmir, Governor's rule is imposed by invoking Section 92 of Jammu & Kashmir State constitution.
But you are write. There was my mistake and there is no difference between the two provisions, Governor rule and president rule.
