My AdSense account has been activated, but showing a Pending status on IndiaStudyChannel

Hi,

Only recently I had tried for the first time to get an AdSense (hosted) account (from ISC). Upon reviewing by the AdSense team, I have finally received a mail from AdSense congratulating me for having a fully activated AdSense account.

Throughout the reviewing process, I had turned off the option to show ISC's default ads (so that no issues could be there) and was still able to see ads on my article submissions with as well as without my account (on ISC) logged in.

It has been someday since then but the IndiaStudyChannel Status (as we find at http://www.indiastudychannel.com/adsense/v4/index.aspx ) is still showing a message as 'Pending (This will not affect your Ad serving.)'

What does it mean? What happens when it shows Pending or Approved over there. Have I been able to link AdSense with my profile?

Is there anything that still needs to be done from my side?

Editors and Experienced members are requested to please explain me what may be happening.

Congratulations for AdSense account approval.
Do not worry if it is showing pending status from ISC, you will be able to earn though your account. Your earning will not get affected by this.

You do not need to worry about the pending status from ISC as informed by Tony Sir in #5 in in this thread.

What you need to do now is:
1. Log in to your AdSense account at http://www.google.com/adsense/start/

2. Create channels for the various sections of ISC so that you can track your earnings of each section, such as:
http://www.indiastudychannel.com/forum/
http://www.indiastudychannel.com/experts/
http://www.indiastudychannel.com/resources/

You can also make channels of individual posts, such as of an article or an AE thread where you submitted an answer.

You should also put in the URL of your profile page, as this too can get you AdSense earnings.

To make channels:
(i) Go to the 'My ads' tab in your AdSense account.
(ii) You will see in the left side pane 'URL channels'. When you click on this, you will see a button '+New URL channel'. Click on that. A box will appear in which you can add the URL(s).

3. Note that if you have acquired your AdSense through ISC, in the top right hand corner of your account you will see in red text 'Hosted account'. This means that you cannot get earnings from ISC partner sites.

4. You should also have a Statcounter account which is available through your Dashboard page: http://www.indiastudychannel.com/members/StatCounterSettings.aspx

This account enables you to know exactly which posts are getting you page views & keywords of your posts that are generating traffic. It also enables you to know the IP from where traffic is coming, this being something very useful in case you are subject to click bombing & need to alert Google about it.

Please accept my best wishes on receiving the Google Adsense activation. Now your earnings will become a reality and even when you are away from the computer, you will be getting your designated income. Please do not worry about the formal approval of adsense from this site. Now concentrate on writing more articles with error free language and to the understanding level of the members and net users. Please try to write more on students requirements and their expectations. Surely you will be earning good amount per article with ease and also participate in this forum section.

I thank all the members to come forward and explaining/congratulating me regarding the AdSense status.

Thanks to Vandana ma'am for explaining what needs to be done by me next. It was a "let's just try it" attempt from me and I had no knowledge on how to track, what to track earlier.
