Yes!.. This trend exists in all generations. There would always be some students, who would always fill the answer sheets with lots and lots of explanations. It normally express that they are not clear and precise about the questions which is asked. If we are unclear about the answer, then we try to fill the paper with whatever which is close to that question. Also these students, would try to convey to the evaluator that they knew lot of information so that, during the paper evaluation, they would give some grace marks for the hell lot of information which they mention in the answer sheet.
By doing this, they also distract other students by creating doubts in there minds. Clear students wont mind about these distractions, they even will feel sorry about the student who get additional sheets.
