More than 150 terrorists shot dead.
Indian cricket team is doing good outside the country.
Indian badminton players won laurels in the world tournament.

You have very nicely depicted the salient achievements made by the government during the month of August 2017. Undoubtedly these are some of the best things achieved in the recent times. The motivation from the higher leadership in the country today has helped us to achieve these milestones.

At the same time the law and order situation in the country has to catch up a lot and has to improve up to the desired extent. The recent Railway accidents are showing the weakness of the government in certain sectors like Railways. Nabbing the terrorist and punishing them in time is also a prime necessity at present.

In total there is a long way to go in achieving development in so many sectors and other areas of concern.

    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.

Yes India has been experiencing the achievements during the month of August but we should also see that worst train accidents were also occurred in this month and many lives lost. The floods in Assam and North east states are worst and no media is reporting about that. For the central government , they should feel happy that the government treasury is earning good amount through GST and so far over 94,000 crore has been collected by state, central and from International market. Politics wise Chandrababu Naidu who is also NDA partner must happy to win the Nandyal seat , there by putting a break to Jagan upsurge.

Yes, August 2017 has witnessed many remarkable events. But to me the best news for the country are: (a) India has forced China (militarily, diplomatically and politically) to disengage from Doklang, and (b) victory of Indian Muslim women on 'Talaq-e-biddat' issue.
Beware! I question everything and everybody.

Yes. This time we are truly an independent nation. Was this due to the change of the government or the change in mindsets of the people? We will never know. But development in India is now visible.

Definitely, this August 2017 will be remembered as a great month for the following events also.

In August, almost 325 children died in BRD Hospital, a state run hospital in UP CM's constituency. The children have been dying at present also. The health minister of UP blamed the month of August itself for the incidence. The deaths owed to cut in oxygen supply. There was a long pending payment issue between the administration of the hospital and the supplier of the oxygen.

August was a month of derailments. These derailments caused railways lot of loss of the assets and revenue along with the loss of lives. This exposed the safety policy of the government. Railway ministry has been always boasting of zero tolerance on safety issues. The derailments of trains also raised the question mark on the efficiency of the Railway Minister.

August was the month of floods. Many people of Bihar, UP, Assam and other states died in these floods. Bihar Minister has blamed rats for the holes in the embankment causing floods. Mumbai flood exposed the preparations of BMC. BMC is ruled by an unholy alliance of a local party of parochial ideology and a national party with Hindutva ideology. These parties have been always at loggerheads with each other for power share.

This August will be remembered for the PM's speech from the ramparts of the historical Red Fort. He gave a misleading data on so called anti-corruption measures of the government. He tried to justify the decision of demonetisation with data. The RBI's annual report did not endorse his claims. Anyway, he forgot that he was addressing the nation as a PM and not as a leader of his political party.

This August will also be remembered for the insensitivity of ruling party towards these events . Amid tragedy of floods, railway derailments, farmer unrest and children deaths, the ruling party chief launched 'mission 350' i.e. a mission to win 350 Loksabha seats in 2019 general elections. Democracy has changed into a game of numbers.

    Jai Hind!!
