For a change this Santa wore a cop cap

The United Church has organised a parade of Santa's near the Historic Charminar in Hyderabad to bring the message as to how to protect the International monument from the pollution of vehicles that are being allowed to ply around the Charminar. The Santas were asked to carry placards asking the motorists not to venture to the monument with the vehicle instead they park the vehicle at their vehicles at the Salarjung Musuem which is hardly two kilometres from the monument.

While every one wore the traditional Santa costume with that red cap , one person was seen woring the Police cap or the cop cap. That has attracted many as they thought it is the police rally which is making the point here.

Good. Mohan has brought in the protection of a god monument in Hyderabad which is constructed by Nawabs of Hyderabad and stands high as a speciality of the city. So protecting this monument is the prime responsibility of the people of Hyderabad. As such United church organised an event. A very good social cause and definitely this type of events will show how much secular and how much tolerant the Indian citizens. From them, all religions are one and the same. Good post for the competition. But I think Mohan has not seen the clause of minimum 350 words for the post for the contest.

Santa as a policeman, Good idea.I think the story is incomplete or part of it is missing. Excellent idea to highlight safeguarding the historical Charminar by air pollution. At Christmas time with many people dressed as Santa, they would certainly attract a crowd and the placard would convey the message.

Nice idea to see Santa in new attire which we usually don't imagine but it might look good and unique and can also be used to give certain moral messages too.
