Is Raghuvir Nagar more distant than Dadri from Lutyen's Delhi?

2015: There was no end to the expensive cars in that village. The politicians and journalists were arriving from Delhi in hordes. Before, during and after visiting the family members of the deceased, they were delivering lofty lectures on secularism. They were lamenting how liberal values were being destroyed. We, the mango-people, were in total shame.

January, 2018: Raghuvir Nagar is in Delhi. It is in West Delhi. The expensive SUVs would take less than 20 minutes to reach the narrow by-lanes where the family of Ankit Saxena lives. That Ankit Saxena who was brutally butchered by the family members (including 16-year-old brother) of his lady-love from ''another community''. That Ankit Saxena, whose mother was somehow saved from the butchers, while trying to save her own son. Very few journalists visited them. Very few political leaders visited the grief-stricken family members.

Perhaps Raghuvir Nagar is more distant than Dadri from Lutyen's Delhi.

It is very natural in our country. The vote politics will always play a role. Every leader will plan his acts and moves keeping always the vote factor in mind. There is no chance for any other thoughts and chance in our country.

But Dr. Rao, why the journalists and reporters? What is their agenda behind highlighting one incident year after year and ignoring/under-reporting another incident?
Beware! I question everything and everybody.

National medias and the so called journalists are playing their own game and selections of news based on their likes and not to the reality of expectations . This is on same line.

There is a report in NDTV site, that Mr.Arviind Kejriwal has met the victim's family and assured them all legal help.
Mr.Manoj Tiwari(BJP), Sushil Gupta(AAP) have also met the family.

Politicians, journalists and media would be present at places that would be beneficial to them, to get mileage, TRP and selling power of the news.

A sad death of the farmer would be an invitation for opposition parties leaders to cash in on the lack of policies from the Government in power to help the farmers.

In this case, it sounds more like an inter-caste love related issue that has led to the death. Here for any politician, it would be like a catch 22 situation. He/she would stay far away as they have to speak in support on either family (community) and this would be taken as an insult by the other family.

As far as the media goes, it also may be staying neutral, his friends however, have appealed to all 'Not' to turn this into a communal issue.
