Is Telugu Desam party getting out of NDA?

The ruling party in the residuary Andhra Pradesh, Telugu Desam, is a constituent of NDA. Two of his MPs are in the central ministry also. The AP Chief Minister is trying hard to overcome the difficulties and make the state a surplus state.
At the time of division, the BJP was in Opposition and they insisted the central government give Special Status to AP. But after elections, BJP has come to power. They maintained that it is not possible to give special status but they will give a special package. Even though the state is in very bad shape the CM against his critics accepted the special package. But the funds are not being released as promised.
The CM supported BJP in Rajya Sabha elections and he has seen that the then Railway minister will get elected as MP from AP. But BJP, in turn, has not at all showing any signs of helping the state. In this year Budget, there are no proper allocations of funds to the state. Now the TDP people very much disappointed and they want to fight out with the central governemnt. With this move, TDP may be going away from BJP.
Do you think is it going to affect the prospects of BJP in southern states.

I think no. N. Chandrababu Naidu is an astute politician, and at this juncture, he will not leave NDA. He is not powerful enough to fight alone, and he may not join UPA due to his past bitter experience and immaturity of the present leadership of UPA parties.

I think this is the usual blackmailing tactics to get more benefit from the Central Government.

Beware! I question everything and everybody.

In my opinion, he should come out of NDA now. Otherwise, he may lose in the next General Assembly elections. If anyone agrees or not, there will be effect of Pawan Kalyan's Janasena. If Chandra Babu goes with NDA, Janasena may not join the coalition. So, there will be hung results. If Chandra Babu comes out of NDA, Janasena may join TDP. This combination may win the election as people of AP are frustrated with NDA and UPA. By this time, Chandra Babu should have realised that AP is getting only its share and not more than that. He will get this amount of share even if he quits NDA. So, there is no necessity of continuing with NDA.

The latest report from AP states that CM Chandrababu Naidu would prevail upon the centre and get all the things done instead of quitting the NDA. As Naidu feel that there is no hope for the Congress to revive nor he would support the Congress government at the centre in future if at all it comes to power. Moreover the statement of YSRCP President Jagan Mohan Reddy that his party not averse to supporting NDA if it promises and gives the special status to AP. Thus for BJP it is in good position either to sail with TDP or opt for the new party YSRCP in future. Nevertheless another one year seems to be crucial for the AP as many parties would be formed and Congress would revive its presence and thus future election in AP is going to be challenging to all parties and In South the BJP wants greater presence and hence wont take hasty decisions.

There would always be a difference of funds asked from the center and what is actually being released. In politics, throwing a tantrum gives short-term results. But in the long run, these tantrums would be borne in mind and paid back with dues when a chance arises.
I don't think Mr.Chandra Babu Naidu would leave or fight. He would have a couple of dialogues or visits to Delhi to highlight the plight. Right now, BJP is the only party that stands out at the national platform and everyone would like to cash in by joining the bandwagon rather than separating from it.

What I feel that instead of asking for more specific rights and funds, the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh are frequently going to foreign countries to seek the investments for the state and thus our PM Modi of the opinion when much funds are coming to the state by the effort of the both, then what is need for the centre to interfere and give more funds and more over the CM is not keeping informed about the funds inflow from foreign countries to Modi and thus there is ego problem coming in between them. May be this is the reason for AP being neglected so far.
