It is necessary to discover the new planet for future, where the life is possible.

It is necessary to discover the new planet for future. because on the Earth, the temperature is increasing rapidly due to global warming ( by pollution). sometime after the climate of the Earth is not applicable to the living. As a result, all living beings do not exist their life on the Earth. So it is necessary to discover the new planet for future. where the life is possible.

It is definitely a need for the survival of the mankind. But the possibilities are very remote and it may require many years to discover a new planet to spoil.Always it is better to upkeep the existing system than thinking of creating a new one. There is a popular saying in Telugu throwing out the water in the vessel by seeing the clouds in the sky. Similarly many say a bird in the hand worth two in the bush. So it is a wise thing to think of saving the existing planet instead of thinking of discovering a new planet. It is better to discover the ways and means to protect the existing environment instead of spoiling the one which w have and thinking of a new planet is not very apt, I feel. Of course it is always good to pursue a new planet which is useful for living. But try to make environmental upkeep practices and see that the Mother Earth will maintain its identity as a place for human beings to live happily.

The life on new planet seems to be a good dream but the feasibility of the same may not be possible. Well all know in spite of 75 percent water and 25 percent land and even that was not fully tapped and utilised by the mankind , because we are yet to discover some unknown places in earth and how come the God or the earth would allow us to explore possibility of new planet to live in future. In Mumbai , through back bay reclamation lands are being brought into infrastructure development or housing use, like wise the sea and ocean water must be reduced or shrink so that new lives can be extended and only after that only we can feel the shortage of land.

Discovering a new habitable planet is a very challenging task for the scientists. It is a situation of dream come true.

Even after the discovery of a suitable planet the logistic issues and survival of humans or animals on a new terrain is questionable. It is a distant dream to establish human colonies on such far off destinations.

It is easy to conjecture those stories of intergalactic travel in science fictions but in reality it requires immense technological and scientific breakthrough.

    Knowledge is power.

Yes, It is necessary to discover the new planet or any other place in the Universe for the life in the future. The earth is the Unique planet since life is possible only on earth. There are some reasons for the survival of life on the earth. Proper temperature, the presence of water, the blanket of the Ozone layer and presence of Oxygen in the atmosphere. Now the temperature is rapidly increasing and it causes global warming. After sometimes it would not be possible to live on the earth due to high temperature. The scientist has already found a satellite on the Jupiter where people can be settled in case of high temperature on earth. At present time the temperature of that satellite is very low but in near future, it is possible to have the life there. Let wait, what's in the future?
    Honesty is the best policy.

If we are not able to take care of our mother earth, then there appears no guarantee that we will not make the other planet also uninhabitable in due course.

However, presently, there appears almost nil possibility that the humans will find another planet soon to spoil the same. At the most, a portion of moon can be made habitable by creating artificial atmosphere within a confined space and arranging for other necessaties.

Contrary to the popular beliefs, the global organisations like UNO etc. working for the welfare of the mankind at large are not getting desired success due to selfish attitude of most of the member countries. Perhaps only nature will settle the score. The humans themselves are inviting natural calamities of catastrophic proportions for themselves by their reckless attitude towards natural balance.

Let us encourage each other in sharing knowledge.

You know what. ..that's the least logical and possible way to deal with this problem.
Discovering planets with life is not even the hard part. Every 1 out of 10000 planets is in the habitable region in our galaxy.
But reaching them is another story.
We'll literally take thousands of years to just cross our solar system.
Even with the speed of light, we'll never be able to reach some planets.
Houbles and Keplar telescope are screening the universe for a habitable planet nearby.

But again, finding and reaching a planet are the easiest parts.
The hardest part is, maintaining life there. And making sure we do not exploit the resources there and go on a mass migration again.
Which is impossible for human race .
We have to find ways to grow crops, our livestock, built our skyscrapers, our machinery should sustain, without gasoline.
We can use solar energy, but that would mean that we need to look for Sun-like stars, not Earth like planets.
    Now that's a rare combo.
Stars bigger than Sun die quick. Stars smaller than Sun don't produce enough energy.

See, its the least logical approach and possibly the worst escape plan ever proposed.
There are not one but a million assumptions and implications.
    The solution is here,on earth.
Try to conserve the present. We might still live away.

The stronger a light shines the darker are the shadows around it.

For the advancement of science, people have been to Moon and may reach other planets. Hence, most of us think it's possible to live outside Earth. Theoretically, yes we can live on Moon or possibly on Mars. But what are the logistical nightmares, travel times, supplementing human life? This would be a distant dream for all except a few of the world's top richest families. Even for the elite, they can afford only for a few weeks or months. This would not be socially feasible also.

What we need to do is look at population, meaningful use and conservation of resources. Aforestation, preserving rivers and existing green cover. At the most, we can have land reclaimed from the sea and multi-level cities in the near future. Like we see in movies, there would be giant floating decks or ships which can sustain a small community like a neighbourhood. But above all, we need to think of saving the Earth rather than looking for new frontiers to explore.
