Ride to success with self-confidence but never deride anyone

One of the unique human characters is feeling self esteem. It is a driving force and success increases it. However while riding on our successes if we cross the maximum threshold of self esteem it will lead us to pride and ego.

On getting wins and successes many people forget their past and initial days and start feeling that they are invincible, omnipotent and omniscient. They then start looking at others with contempt. They deride others for their small mistakes or failures. As the other person also has his own self esteem, he or she feels bad. Some may become desperate and helpless, while some others may get provoked.

It is mostly a common experience for all in rainy season. Some people riding on their bikes go with such carelessness and sped that the muddy water on the road gets splashed on the pedestrians. At least some of these riders enjoy the plight of the pedestrians and laugh with scorn.
Pride goes before a fall is the good old saying. Hence it is to be kept in mind that, we ride on to and with success only with our self-confidence, self -esteem and hard work, but never deride others.

To borrow a quotation" The truth is you don't know what is going to happen tomorrow. Life is a crazy ride, and nothing is guaranteed"

We should enjoy our success but we should not become proud. We can have confidence but it should not become overconfident. There is a saying in Telugu that even the plate is made of Gold, it requires some support to stand. This truth we all should remember the day in and day out. Success should not make you proud but it should make you a better human being. If we see the example of Lal Bahadur Sastry, we will understand what should be the way you have to behave even at the time of victory. He never allowed his son to use his name for personal benefit. He was a very successful man but never gave any impression to anyone that he was VVIP.
This should be the attitude of a person. We can ride on our success but we should not deride anyone. A nice thread by the author and a must follow advice to all. Thank you for your good thread

    always confident

Yet, some successful people feel insecurity within them and to try to prove their point, they deride other. In other words, they use other shoulder to make their image like the most honest person.

Nice quote from the author. Nothing succeeds likes success. And that comes through lots of self confidence, self motivation and above all perseverance and total dedication towards the goal.

Lovely thread from the author. Absolutely, we should not allow ego to become a major part of our success. However we need a positive self attitude for our individual growth but not for the people nearby.
We should have a down to Earth attitude. Our hard work and dedication help us to achieve success. It is a good thing, but we should not make other people feel weak in that case. Let our self-confidence be admired by others.

    Do what inspires you !!

A nice thread that deals with how humans change and behave in the society. As we ride our journey in life, we should respect the fellow humans around us even if they are not in a better position than us.

I have seen people who ill-treat staff, security personnel, junior members etc at their homes and offices. This is in-correct, each of us are in a position because of what opportunities we had and the resources in hand, some climb up in life very fast, so are slowly trudging along. This does not give us reason to berate or ill-treat people below us.

In this context, it would be apt to remember a good quote that goes like 'The higher we go the harder would be the fall'. Times change, circumstances change, people who have a rags to riches story and become arrogant and abusive have had a riches to rag story.
