    Job Editor's attention required

I had posted the following jobs on Saturday.

Two of these jobs were pushed to pending status for the reason the main job post link is not working, but when I checked the link was working without any problem. This job page form Dehradun Classified requires flash player to open.

I have resubmitted the two jobs which were pushed to pending & two others which were not edited at all, after rechecking the link. Request the concerned editors to look into the matter.

I am waiting for the response promised, Saji. And the jobs are still not been approved. They are in new submissions section though.

If the link cannot be opened by an editor, it is likely a candidate also will not be able to access it. The source is important in a job post to authenticate it, both by the editor and a candidate. I would suggest not submitting jobs with such links which require specific software. It is safer for our site to have job notifications which can be instantly verified.

    Thank you for that update.

Earlier, a lead editor used to submit jobs from the same site and so did I. There were no issues for all these days.

Further, flash player is not an uncommon or rare software, it is a basic software which is generally installed in most of the computers.

I am not sure that is the real cause for the editor's keeping it pending, the reason given was "please check job link given". I didn't know whether to infer that editor couldn't open the page or could not find the job on that particular job on the page. It may be noted by editors and if possible, be little more specific in future.

Anyways, thank you for the clarification.
