Is it a new dawn for Indian football?

Yesterday was a special day for Indian football. First, the Indian Under-16 National team defeated reigning Asian Under-16 champion Iraq by a solitary goal at the WAFF Under-16 Championship in Amman, Jordan. Indian player Bhuvenesh scored the goal during extra time.

The second victory was much sweeter. Indian Under-20 National team stunned Argentina's Under-20 team 2-1 in its last match at the COTIF Cup held in Spain. Argentina is the most successful Under-20 team in World Cup history. Indian team played against this most powerful team with ten players most of the time, when an Indian player was shown a red card in the match.

Is it a new dawn, or, have I started dreaming too early? We will decide later. First, let us congratulate India's Under-16 Football team and Under-20 Football team.

Congratulations to Under 16 football team India. You have done really a great thing by beating Iraq which is a powerful team of Asia. It is really motivative to beat the powerful team. India is the best team of cricket but do not forget that in 1983 world cup nobody imagined that India can win the world cup but after the winning world cup 1983 we have reached the top of the list. So, you have said correctly that it is a new dawn for Indian football.

Congratulations to the Indian Under-16 National football team for their victory over Asian Under-16 champion Iraq.
Similarly, my congratulations also to Indian Under-20 National team for their win over the most successful team, Argentina's Under-20 team.
These two wins will definitely give a push in the minds of the players and I hope they will go for more and more wins in the future. Definitely, it is an indication that Indian football is going to get a new look shortly. The government should start promoting this game in the country by offering various incentives to the players and recognising their merit. Indian Football Association should work hard and see that the game will attract the best talent of players from the country and they will be trained and mentored to see that their best output will come. All the best to the Indian Football Team

Congrats to the Under 16 National Football team who proved their mantle by winning over the Iraq. This once again proves that given the grit and determination our boys can outperform any team.
