Why not bio toilets even in EMU trains?

Not that the Indian Railways has successfully introduced bio toilet toilets in most express trains, making the railway tracks very clean, why can't we think of the same kind of toilets in the EMU trains as well?

This will help the Indian Railways maintain the environs of local stations clean. The passengers tend to use the open space near the stations as urinals and this is a horrible problem in Chennai. May be, there are other cities where a similar problem is noticed.

If we can think of bio toilets in EMU trains, will it not lead to better facilities for passengers? The ladies will also have a far better facility, as they face a huge problem when travelling for distances like seventy kilometers at a single stretch, and the train would take at least one hundred minutes to reach its destination.

I have travelled in many EMU trains where the crowd is too much, and one cannot think about going to WC to attend the nature's call. Therefore, people wishing to travel in EMU trains should finish their routine and be free from any nature's call during the journey.

@ Anyway, your suggestion is good, to have bio toilets in EMUs.

Who said EMU trains are not having toilets. The Local trains running inside the Hyderabad city are having toilets and on both sides there is enough space for the commuters to avail the service. Since all the coaches are having vestibule or inter connection facility, one can hop from one coach to other to have the toilet facilities on the running train. But it is always good not to use the toilets while the train is standing at the stations and passing through the crowded under bridge and that would be inconvenient to the passengers and road users too.

It is a good idea to have bio toilets in EMU trains. They will be good. But how far our people will maintain this is the question. They should not throw waste papers and others into these toilets. If they do this they will get spoiled. In EMU trains the floating travellers are more and the traffic will be more. So maintaining them may be a difficult proposition. A more sensible public only can understand the importance and usefulness of these toilets.

After suggestion for bio-toilets in buses, the author has come up with suggestion for bio-toilets in EMU trains. It is requested that members should avoid raising threads on the same topic by placing them in different scenarios or by changing the background.
