Another feather in its cap! - ISRO successfully launches satellite HysIS

ISRO achieved its another target today. Its PSLV-C43 succeeded in injecting into orbit India's one of the most prestigious earth observation satellite HysIS along with 30 co-passenger satellites from eight countries from the launching pad at Sriharikota. The Hyper Spectral Imaging Satellite (HysIS) with a life span of five years is expected to study the earth's surface in visible, near infrared and shortwave infrared regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. With this successful launch, the primary satellite of the PSLV-C43 completes its 45th flight.

PSLV-C43, is the 'Core Alone' version of PSLV and the lightest version of the launch vehicle. This is ISRO's second launch in the month. Out of the 30 satellites, 23 satellites are from the US, the rest are from Australia, Canada, Columbia, Finland, Malaysia. Congratulations to our scientists who made us proud to celebrate this great achievement.

It's indeed a great achievement. The HySIS, will be very useful for collecting data after observing the surface of the earth and it will help to assist the studies in the field of agriculture, coasts and waterways.

With the pollution increasing at an alarming level, it will also help to monitor the level of pollution through different parameters. India is proving its mettle in the field of space research and I congratulate all the scientists of ISRO for successfully carrying out the process of launching.

Yes. It is a real achievement. ISRO has done an excellent job and HySIS is introduced into the orbit on dot. ISRO is achieving excellence in these experiments and becoming self-sufficient by earning foreign exchange by introducing other country's satellites into orbit. We should congratulate the scientists and other people who worked for the success of the project.
ISRO is having the capacity of doing an excellent research and the scientists there are so meticulous in planning that the work goes without any interruption with military discipline. This shows the dedicated works of the people there and we all should be proud of their victory.

It is an excellent project led by the government of India. Most of the foreign satellites are generally launched from Sriharikota. The author of this thread gave excellent information about newly launched PSLV-C43 satellite. Every time, with the release of newly satellites, some new technology and information are gathered that gives fame overall the world.
