Why not publish the names of members suspended?

The members of the forum section are very much concerned about some of the members who are missing in action in the forum section. This is giving scope for speculation as to whether the members are suspended or not? The missing of members may be due to various reasons and one of them is the suspension policy of ISC. I wish that the ISC publish the names and duration of the suspension so that all speculations end.

I think that would be categorised under humiliation so editors may not accept such proposal.

This remains an internal matter of the ISC to disclose it or no to disclose it & I don't feel the need that this needs to get public for whatsoever reasons. However in a duration of times we get the attention from the ISC in a general notice in case the actions of the members goes beyond the terms & conditions or not acting as per their rule of law to ISC platform. In addition, this hardly matters to the members as well as they are here with their own will & personal interest.

If few of us are emotionally connected with each other than It would be a different concern.

Publishing the names of suspended members in forum would amount to shaming them openly. On the other hand, it can act as deterrent for other members. ISC wants members to contribute. ISC would not like to shame the erring members as they may feel humiliated and may not return to ISC ever.

So, guessing the reason of absence of active members is left to our (members') judgement by ISC, and very rightly so.

We have stated the reason before when a similar query was posted in the forum earlier, that we do not wish to humiliate and embarrass anyone by announcing names openly. It is highly improper and undignified.
