    Flying with Grandpa - a children's story

With great pride and heaps and heaps of exuberant excitement, I wish to share some happy news. My sister Madhuri wrote a children's story which was accepted by Duckbill Books and Publications Pvt Ltd. Today they launch the story as a book titled Flying with Grandpa on Amazon India. It will later be available in bookstores too. This is the first time a story written by her has been accepted by a reputed publishing house, her earlier one some years ago being a self-published one. I had also shared here at ISC the launch of her Kindle e-book last year.

The book Flying with Grandpa for young readers would make a great gift and encourage reading as well and we are confident that adults would love it too! Sharing the joy of this momentous occasion with you all and seeking your best wishes for the book's success. I would like to request those who do buy the book to please leave a comment as a review of it at Amazon India.

If the story or article or novel of a writer is selected and accepted by a reputed publisher then it speaks itself about the quality of that creative work. It is definitely a happy occasion and please convey your sister Madhuri my sincere and heartiest good wishes.

I also wish her a successful career in the creative world and more such feathers in her cap.

My heartiest congratulations to your sister. Working with children is amazing and I am sure she enjoys a lot with the children and decided to write a book for them. Since Duckbill Books and Publications Pvt Ltd published the book, it would be undoubtedly very interesting to read.

I wish her all the best and hope she will write more books to enthrall the readers.

Neeraj - No, the print version of the earlier e-book is unfortunately not available.

Jagdish - many thanks for the quick purchase.

Sankalan - my sister does not work with children. She writes content for NGOs and has worked on screenplays for television. You could perhaps read her interview at the publisher's blog. That is one unique feature of the publishers wherein a new author is interviewed by another author whose book was published by them or by the illustrator. I will convey everyone's best wishes to my sister. Thank you.
