    International Kite and Sweets festival

    On the occasion of Sankranthi festival in Hyderabad parade grounds international kite and sweets festival from 13th January 2019 is going on. Different countries are participating in this festival and people are very happy to visit this place for this festival.
    People from all corners of Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana are visiting and enjoying the sweets from about 20 countries. Telangana sweets are a special attraction for the other state visitors here.
    Professional kite flyers from different places are participating and showcasing their skills in this festival. A cultural festival also being organised along these festivals. Any members of ISC from Hyderabad tasted sweets in this festival. I have not tasted.

    I am from Delhi. We do celebrate Makar Sankranti but here we don't fly kites on this occasion. What is so special about this Hyderabadi sweets? We eat groundnut, Rebari, Gazak (Hindi sweets famous in north India) on this day.

    Did not know that such a festival is organised and observed in India where the people from all over the world are joining to enjoy the kites and sweets.

    The people from other places will definitely like the taste of special sweets of Hyderabad as some of the Indian sweets are well appreciated all over the world.
