What a catch, man! What a catch!

There was unnecessary controversy because of his loose tongue. He was punished. But Indian team wanted him for the preparation of oncoming World Cup. Captain Virat Kohli batted for him. Ultimately, he returned to Indian ODI team after a two-match (?) suspension.

He joined Indian team at New Zealand just on the eve of the third ODI. The captain didn't bother about the jet lag after a long journey. And he justified his inclusion in the very first match. He bowled his medium-pace with accuracy and tied down the New Zealand captain Kane Williamson by bowling series of dot balls.

In-form Williamson became impatient. On the 17th over of the New Zealand inning, Yuzvendra Chahal bowled a flighted ball to Williamson. He came forward and hit the ball towards short mid-wicket. The fielder who joined the Indian team came out of nowhere, dived full length and made an impossible catch possible. After the departure of in-form captain, New Zealand lost direction, could not score adequate runs and ultimately lost the match and series.

Captain Kohli and former player Mohammad Kaif (known as one of India's greatest fielders) praised the young player. Kaif said that the wicket of Williamson was, in actuality, a fielder's wicket.

Hardik Pandya, who was shamed by all only ten days ago because of his irresponsible comment in a television-show has returned to the Indian team. No doubt, India team will have more option after the inclusion of the medium-pacer-cum hard-hitter-cum brilliant-fielder.

A good performance by Hardik Pandya. But because of this, we can't say what comments made can be ignored. And the BCCI had given punishment to him and as per the requirement of the Captain, he was taken back into the team. His excellent catch only brought the match to Indias's favour. A very good catch and all the bowlers bowled well and made India win the series. Hearty congratulations to the Indian team for their collective work. All the batsmen also did well yesterday and they won the series before another two matches to be played.

I am surprised by the inclusion of Hardik in the team. No doubt he is one of the most promising players for India and is going to play a major role in the Indian team. He has to control his comments further on after seeing the ban imposes on Pakistan captain. He may have understood by now that celebrities cannot say negatively anywhere as they are watched and their comments are seriously analysed. Hardik you need to be more careful in future as slip of tongue may be serious.

I do hope that Pandya would learn from this controversy and will give everything for the country. He must learn to keep his personal affair outside the field, private.

To err is human. No man is a man if he doesn't commit a mistake. But he should ensure that the same mistake is not repeated twice. Hope Pandya has realized his mistake and will not commit it again. He will play with his fullest strength in future, and will not make any dirty comment on anybody.

Well done! The on-field performance of Hardik Pandya is always brilliant but it is because of his performance off the field, he was punished. Everybody must keep this in mind and especially if a player like his calibre behaves in that fashion he is bound to face the punishment. Hope Pandya has learned from his mistakes and will not repeat the same.

Congratulations, Team India! All of us are waiting for an exciting performance in the World Cup.

A very interesting post by the author presented beautifully in the shadow of some unwanted words uttered by the cricketer.

It happens sometimes that a person forgets his level and tells something in front of media which is culturally and traditionally not acceptable.

A hue and cry always follows such incidents and until some punishment is announced media does not leave it.

But now we are back to the wickets and clouds are gone giving way to bright sunlight.

    Knowledge is power.
