    Google Adsense verification problem

I have recently linked my Adsense account with my ISC pages. I believe that due to some reason Google has not yet linked my account. My Adsense profile is showing this message.

Sorry! Something is wrong. We could not get valid AdSense script from your AdSense account and hence we are using our default AdSense Ads in your content pages. It could be because you haven't completed the AdSense application process, Google did not accept your application or we may have disabled your revenue sharing for violation of our program policies. If you have completed the AdSense application process and can't get this error resolved, please contact us and we will look into it.

You may be receiving the message because your Adsense account is not approved yet. Just wait for a few more days and if this message is still shown then something is wrong in the application process. Till then, no need to worry about this particular message.

Keep checking your e-mails too. When your Adsense account is ready, you will receive an e-mail from Google confirming their approval.

My Adsense account is approved. I was using this Adsense account much before linking it with ISC.

If you have already got a Google Adsense account then you have to simply link it with your ISC account for which you must have done the process as explained in the help sections of ISC. If not just repeat it and wait for a while.

You will find the details in the ISC help section and have to go step by step accordingly.

    Jitesh,

Quite often, as the Webmasters often state, there is no way to know why there is such an issue with Google, about the reason why the ISC association was not approved or why an application is rejected. What I suggest is that you try linking the account again after a couple of months. From what I can vaguely surmise, after checking your profile here, is that it would be advisable that you continue to submit quality content on a consistent basis with no gaps of long months. It is possible that because you were away, then returned and suddenly applied for linking it was not approved. Maybe you also need to update your profile a bit, mentioning some achievements in academics or other fields as well. You mentioned having an AdSense account prior to attempting to link it with ISC. So you could check that the source from where you applied - a blog/website - also has quality content and is not violating any Google AdSense policy, which may in some way be creating a hurdle to linking the account here. Just some theories and suggestions; not sure if they are accurate or would help in any way.

    Vandana,

Correct me if I am wrong, but to me, this appears to be an internal problem, associated with ISC and has nothing to do with Google Adsense.

Kindly refer to the following lines mentioned in Jitesh's post -

'We could not get valid AdSense script from your AdSense account and hence we are using our default AdSense Ads in your content pages.'

'...or we may have disabled your revenue sharing for violation of our program policies.'

'If you have completed the AdSense application process and can't get this error resolved, please contact us and we will look into it.'

The issue has to be resolved/answered by the Webmasters.

    Juana,

The Webmasters were already informed when this thread came up. They are yet to check it out and a reminder has been sent today. The message which appears for Jitesh has come up in the case of other members as well, in the past, and the issue could not be technically resolved if I recall and had been related to content issues. It is possible, though, that it may be resolved this time around as a technical issue only, which would be good for Jitesh.

[Update for Jitesh - note that the profile photo was earlier not approved and was approved after my previous response.]

I have associated my Google Adsense account again.

  • #660202
    Please try a few steps

    1. Login to AdSense.com
    2. Go to Account >> Access and Authorisation >> Third Party Access
    3. On the right side, make sure you have enabled access for http://www.indiastudychannel.com

    Next,

    1. Go to Sites >> Overview
    2. Make sure IndiaStudyChannel.com is listed there. If not, add indiastudychannel.com there.

Try to Associate AdSense here again and see if it works.

    I have done that.

    Jitesh,

I checked your AdSense profile page at ISC and as of now, it seems to be fine. You can now create a channel of ISC (https://indiastudychannel.com/) and of the Articles' section (https://indiastudychannel.com/resources/) at your Google AdSense account and see if revenue is coming in.

I was following this post and found it very useful. I am also waiting for my Google Adsense account approval. It is pending for some time.

The discussion and tips given in this thread will be useful to me soon. Thanks to ME and Webmaster for providing the requisite help.

Thank You so much for helping me out with this problem. May I know how can I add forum section revenue with adsense. I tried adding www. indiastudychannel.com/forum in site section of adsense. But, I could not add the site. The error message said that 'Please go to the host partner to add this site'

  • #660871
    Jitesh,
To know if you are getting revenue from the forum you need to add it as a channel and not as a site. Here are the steps -

    1. In the left side pane of your AdSense account, you will see 'Ads'. Click on that and then on 'URL channels'.
    2. Now you will see 'New URL channel'. When you click on that, a box will open in the middle of the screen. Put this URL in that box: https://www.indiastudychannel.com/forum/.
    3. Under 'Reports' you will see that URL appearing and the colums which show page views, impression, cllicks, etc. The last column there will indicate the earnings from the forum.

Similarly, you can create channels for the other sections where you are contributing, such as the articles section, for which the URL you can put as https://www.indiastudychannel.com/resources/. If you so wish, you can add the URLs of specific articles and even of individual forum threads, like of this one. You may also earn from your own profile page, so put https://www.indiastudychannel.com/member/nikhilkalta.aspx.

Note: earnings from the ad units in the forum are shared between the author and the responders.
