It is harmful to keep a mistake in mind for a long time

Do you feel ruminating on a mistake is unhealthy and will affect your health drastically? Or is it Ok to let it remain in your mind for a good long while and quite harmless generally?

We make many mistakes in everyday life. To err is human. But sometimes people keep their mistakes in their minds for a long time. In my opinion, it is very harmful to health. If you think about your mistake repeatedly for weeks, it is called rumination. Rumination is a psychological disease.

So, do not take stress about mistakes. You have an opportunity to learn something new from every mistake. Do not repeat the mistakes and try to avoid those mistakes in the future. Always try to find out the reasons for the mistakes and solution of those reasons.

It's very normal as everyone commits mistakes as when do work its very usual we may commit a mistake.

The best way is to learn from past mistakes so that we may not repeat them in future. Just to keep them in the memories and don't learn any lesson from them is of no use buy will only stress our mind and make us frustrated.

There is no point in thinking about the mistakes that were committed earlier. We can't go back in history and we have no time machine to do that. So there is no way to reverse our mistakes. But what we can do is know your mistakes and never repeat them again. But worrying always for the old mistakes committed is of no use.
If you have done a mistake please analyse the reason for committing that mistake and correct yourselves so that you will never repeat the same mistake. That is a wise way.
If you go on thinking about the past mistakes and don't apply your mind on the issues you have presently you may commit mistakes again. That will create another problem. Yesterday is over. Tomorrow is uncertain. Be present and concentrate on work on hand which will make you happy and chances of committing mistakes will come down.

People can make mistakes and it is a natural thing but we should try to minimize making mistakes. Feeling guilty shortly after committing a mistake shows the feeling of consciousness and that too can be natural. People feel guilty after making mistakes, however, we should take all these things positively and try to avoid mistakes. Lessons can be learnt from committing errors which can develop a human into a better person.
It is ok to make mistakes but always open your mind to learn new things can have far-reaching results. When you commit a mistake you create hope of being good at what you have been wrong and repeatedly committing mistakes. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, mistakes teach you how to be perfect.

Mistakes are like stepping stones to reach our goal for success. Once we cross and reach the top, we don't think about the stepping stones at all. We forget them. If you start worrying about the stepping stones(mistakes)forever, you would come down to start it again from scratch.

It is like the bitter food we eat. Drink water and forget the bitter taste.

Most of the people forget their mistakes and prepare fresh for the next attempt or task. There may be a few who keep their failures in mind and then unnecessary worry over it. We should avoid it at any cost. There is no point on crying over spoiled milk.

When we work it is natural that mistakes will happen but we should not be bogged down with them. We have to improve ourselves not to repeat the mistakes and that is the only way to progress ahead.

Mistakes are two types. Intentional and unintentional. If your mistake is intentional you need to worry about that and introspect yourself why you did that. If the mistake is unintentional you need not to worry much. A sorry with the affected person will give you a sense of relief.

Time is the best healer. As times goes by, we forget the past.
