By not revealing details of new cabinet, hasn't PM Modi signalled new way of administration?

Today is the day when Shri Narendra Modi will take oath as Prime Minister. For the first time ever in history that not a single information regarding names of new cabinet members have been made public. PM Modi in his speech in Parliamentary meeting of NDA also warned his MPs not to believe in media reports and rumours about cabinet berths as it will be decided by PM himself and it is not their way of working to let media and other forces to intervene in administration process.

By keeping this information confidential till last moment of oath ceremony, Prime Minister has conveyed a very clear message that this Govt. won't allow intervention of outsiders and media has no business in selection of cabinet portfolios and therefore media is not supposed to provide advise or suggestions in this regard.

This time it is very confidential. Many expectations and thoughts are going around. Everybody is assuming that Shah will be inducted and all that. But there is no single hint from the elected people or senior bosses of the party. Today also there is no clarity of names and the number is being mentioned as 60. But it may be correct or not correct. It is true that no one should be able to force the government to make decisions for their benefit. It is the right of the MPs to select their leader and it is the right of the leader to choose his/ her cabinet colleagues. That way by keeping the cards very close to their chests both PM and the party president made it clear that they will not succumb for the pressures from outsiders.
    always confident

So far I have been evident of only rumors in the media with no admissions from the government side of the decisions taken on the distribution and allocation of portfolios. Even the alliance partners have been kept with confidence about what's going to be happen. I wouldn't say this is inappropriate but instead logical too as this is the business of the administration and not of any media groups to decide on this matter.

Hope so that we would be witnessing the administration part which we missed during the previous regimes.

Mr Modi has his own way of administration and he is a no nonsense person. He does not like the cheap tactics of some media persons and their interference in the Govt machinery. People have understood his way of working. So, these mischievous elements will not dare to go to PMO office for information and tips.
    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.

It is good to hear that the ministers will be selected by him & will be announced later without giving any details to anyone. It shows a good administration power. It is good for the people & media to understand the LOC which they need to comply.
Hope the new selected or elected members / minister are capable of the post.

Hoping & praying for a good Goverment.

Yes, this was new to me, most channels covered that the potential candidate has 'got a call from PMO, form Mr.Amit Shah' etc. In one way, it seems to avoid last minute leanings and changes and also the control the top leadership has over the flow of information.
